A 24-year veteran of the energy industry, Caro is responsible for Constellation’s sales of natural gas to more than 100,000 commercial and industrial customers, and supports sales of the full range of Constellation products including power, energy efficiency, and on-site generation.
Caro joined Constellation in connection with its acquisition of Integrys Energy Services, Inc. where he oversaw direct mass market and C&I sales, marketing, account management and channel partner management as senior vice president. He joined Integrys in 2002 in a structuring and valuation role where he created the models used to price and hedge retail electric products, and assisted in the company’s expansion into Michigan, New York, the Mid-Atlantic, Illinois and Texas.
Prior to joining Integrys, Caro worked in forecasting, scheduling, supply acquisition and risk management for Westcoast Energy. There, he helped launch Union Energy, an unregulated affiliated gas marketing company, and oversaw all supply-related issues required to source and deliver gas to residential and small commercial customers in Ontario, Canada. He also held leadership positions at Engage Energy, another unregulated affiliate of Westcoast Energy, where he was responsible for the structuring and valuation of large wholesale power and gas transactions.
