Michael is a 1988 graduate of the Clemson University with a bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas. He joined Texas utilities, Oncor’s predecessor company, in 1988 and has assignments in Nuclear Generation, Fossil Generation, System Protection, Asset Management, Transmission Operations and Business Development. He has been charged with setting the company’s course in identifying technologies and deployment strategies to meet the growing and changing needs of the electric grid and market.
